Welcome To Bone & Associates
Bone and Associates is a family-owned business that has been part of Wilson County for more than 100 years. Starting in cattle farming, today the company’s diversified ownership also includes senior living facilities, commercial and residential construction and development, real estate brokerage, mobile and self-storage, and management of a large portfolio of rental properties.
Sam Stratton Bone, Sr. arrived in Wilson County in 1910 at the age of six and made a significant contribution as an early residential developer, farmer and Cumberland University executive. He was instrumental in bringing both electricity and water to the homes and businesses of Wilson County, and during World War II, Mr. Bone coordinated the county’s participation as a training site for soldiers headed to Europe.
His son, Gordon Bone, began his career in banking and is currently on the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Bank and Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation. Through the years, he has been an owner and manager of University Medical Center, Horizon Concrete, B&B Enterprise - a construction and development company, and several skilled nursing, long-term care and assisted living facilities. Today, Gordon still starts each day working the family farm.
Hal Bone, the third generation, works with his father to continue to grow the many businesses they own. Hal started in residential construction and real estate sales and, in 2004, added the mobile and self-storage businesses. Hal daily continues to pursue commercial and residential development opportunities, although he spends the majority of his time supervising the family’s healthcare and property management businesses. Hal’s faith and family are his greatest accomplishments, and with five children, Hal has ensured the Bones will continue to be a key part of the community for years to come.
